Cilantro

Making a Mexican dish? Cilantro is the key herb in Mexican cuisine. The seeds from this plant are edible and are known as coriander. Cilantro prefers cooler temperatures. When it gets too hot it will bolt (go to seed), it is no longer useful for cooking. Another option is to plant different plants at different times throughout the season so that you always have fresh cilantro for your guacamole.
